Lanokk Csinos

Zoldmali Samu of Lanokk (Imp Hun) X Zoldmali Csoda of Lanokk (Imp Hun) ShCM

Our home-bred girl Csinos is a very important addition to the Lanokk HWVs, not only is she the daughter of our Csoda, but her grandfather is Brokk, our first HWV, who has made such a great contribution to the breed over the years, with champion progeny world-wide.

Csinos (Hungarian for “pretty”) comes  from a superb litter of ten which we had such fun rearing. She has the most outgoing, happy nature, her tail never stops wagging and she wants to be friends with everyone. So easy to live with, and adored by everyone who meets her, she is a dream come true for us.

Csinos qualified for Crufts 2015 in style on her second outing, taking Best Puppy in Breed at National Gundog Championship Show aged six months under a breed specialist. She ended the day being shortlisted for Best Puppy in Show. Unfortunately, I was unable to show her much for more than a year while I recovered from an accident, but she consistently did well when we made it to shows. I was delighted to end 2015 with her gaining her Kennel Club Stud Book number when she won the Reserve Bitch CC at LKA championship show.

Csinos is hip scored and HUU tested.

Judges’ Critiques

“Close up to winner. Strong but very feminine. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Sound, free and accurate mover.”
Valerie Foss, Midland Counties Championship Show, October 2016

“Walker’s Lanokk Csinos, pleasing girl balanced all through. Another with a lovely front, and good angulation fore and aft. Coat of texture and coverage coming through. Moved with ease.”
Rachel Thompson, Windsor Championship Show, July 2016

“Walker’s Lanokk Csinos, loved her as a youngster and still do. Put down in tip-top order. No exaggeration on this girl. Very workmanlike, well boned, yet feminine. Hands flow easily from head to tail. Good footfall. Needs to soften in expression yet.”
Chris Guest, Three Counties Championship Show, June 2016

“Another feminine bitch of a lovely type, so very pretty there would be no mistaking her sex, lovely head and expression with a good eye and earset, excellent coat which was beautifully presented, moved well on well boned legs and feet, she is balanced with a good topline, lovely neck and shoulders, she is quality.”
Pam Blay, HWVA Championship Show, April 2016

“This was my star of the day, a lovely quality two years bitch with a good texture of coat, lovely head with a good skull, stop and nice wide muzzle, correct reach and set of clean neck into well laid shoulder and angulated upper arm, good fitting elbow, straight front, strong pasterns and nice tight feet with well arched toes, level topline and correct tailset, good spring and length of rib, well bent stifle with short hocks and good thighs, moved with good flowing stride with reach and drive and true front and rear. ”

Editha Newton, LKA Championship Show, December 2015

“Best in Show was Lanokk Csinos, W/h Vizsla – I loved this bitch from the moment she walked into the ring. She was full of type, feminine in head, good depth of brisket, correct in angulation front and rear, her coat was in super condition. But it was on the move that she shone. She was so balanced and sound. A well deserved winner. ”

“Another sound bitch from this kennel, moved out well with power, just needing a bit more time to come into her own, good head and when eyes darken will finish the picture.”

“Just out of puppy class and can only get better, quality youngster, my notes say love this girl completely filled the eye. Balanced head with good furnishings, strong neck into good clean shoulders, chest well down and correct height to length. Well boned strong legs with nice tight feet, super coat and moved with drive and purpose, lovely overall package. Best of Breed and one to watch. ”

Zena Thorn-Andrews, Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show, August 2014

“Lanokk Csinos, six months, very feminine and litter sister to PD. Don’t often consider one so young for RCC but this young lady came within an inch of her ginger whiskers, she is young yet and I am sure her time will come. Excellent construction covered in short harsh coat of good colour and texture. Easy to go over, moderate in neck to good shoulders and straight forelimbs. Good feet. Chest drops neatly to elbows and enough bone for age and sex. Good width and muscletone in quarters let her move with drive and ease. Eyes will darken yet. Just gave a bit more in the challenge to pip her brother, proud to see her make the cut for BPIS. BP.”
