WKC successes

Lanokk HWVs had a fabulous outing to Welsh Kennel Club championship show on 17 August. I took along Ostor, Huncut and Csinos and we met up there with Susanne and Les with Lanokk Szivos (Csinos’s brother AKA JP) and Hayley and Mark with our co-owned Lanokk Dorottya (Dori). Under judge Zena Thorn-Andrews, Ostor gained his stud book number and lifelong Crufts qualification by being placed first in Open Dog (his first time in Open at a champ show). Csinos won Best Puppy Bitch and Huncut was awarded the Reserve Bitch Challenge Certificate (her second such award). Very well done also to Dori who, despite being the youngest in the Junior Class at nine months old, was awarded second. But the star of the day was six-month-old JP who not only won Best Puppy in Breed, but also the Reserve Dog Challenge Certificate and therefore earned his stud book number. A wonderful achievement under such a well-respected judge who spoke very highly of him and his sister, Csinos.
